Who We Are
HomeGift is operated by SENDHOME.ONLINE LTD. HomeGift provides digital giving pages for participating church parishes. Donors can access a church-specific giving page by QR code, NFC tap plaque, parish website link, livestream link, or direct URL.
What HomeGift Does
HomeGift allows a donor to select an offertory amount and proceed to a supported payment method, such as Open Banking, Pay by Bank, hosted checkout, payment link, card, wallet, or manual bank transfer where enabled.
HomeGift's intended model is for donations to be paid directly to the participating parish's own bank account where the selected payment method supports that model. HomeGift does not intend to receive, hold, pool, safeguard, or redistribute donor funds.
Personal Data We Collect
- Anonymous session identifiers, selected church, selected amount and payment reference.
- Payment method, payment status and limited provider metadata needed for operation and reconciliation.
- Technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, timestamps and security logs.
- Administrator and church contact details, configuration records, support records and audit logs.
HomeGift does not collect or store online-banking passwords, banking login credentials, or full donor bank-login details.
Payment Providers And Manual Transfer
HomeGift may use regulated third-party payment providers to support payment initiation, hosted checkout, bank selection, payment links, status updates, webhooks, card processing, wallet payments, or settlement reporting. The provider may present its own payment screen, bank-authentication flow, privacy notice, consent wording, or terms.
HomeGift may receive limited payment or status information from the provider, such as payment reference, amount, currency, provider session ID, provider transaction ID, status, timestamps, error codes, reconciliation metadata or webhook events. HomeGift does not use provider data for lending, credit scoring, advertising, unrelated financial profiling, or unrelated marketing.
Where manual bank transfer is enabled, HomeGift may display church-approved bank-transfer details and generate a payment reference. Manual transfer confirmations submitted by donors are treated as self-reported unless separately reconciled by the church.
Why We Process Personal Data
We process personal data to provide the HomeGift digital offertory flow, create and track payment or transfer instructions, support payment initiation and status updates, prevent misuse and fraud, maintain operational and security records, support participating churches, and comply with legal, tax, accounting, audit, dispute and regulatory obligations where applicable.
Depending on the processing activity, lawful bases may include contract or pre-contractual steps, legitimate interests, legal obligation and consent where consent is specifically required.
Sharing, Cookies And Retention
We may share limited data with participating churches, payment providers, hosting, database, security, email, logging and infrastructure providers, and professional advisers, insurers, auditors, regulators or public authorities where legally required or necessary. We do not sell donor personal data.
HomeGift uses strictly necessary cookies, local storage or similar technologies for security, sessions, payment-flow continuity, admin authentication, fraud prevention or user preferences. Non-essential analytics, advertising or tracking cookies will require appropriate information and consent where required.
Indicative retention periods are set out in the Data Retention and Deletion Policy.
Your Rights And Complaints
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access your personal data, correct inaccurate data, request deletion, restrict processing, object to processing, request data portability and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
To exercise these rights, contact support@sendhome.online. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
